Well that wasn't very good. Not necessarily bad, just not very good at all. It's a weird mix of great action sequences (second half) with some really lazy screenwriting. That's my biggest beef with the movie, it offers absolutely nothing new and is highly predictable. The first half of the movie is a nice build-up and somewhat intellectually-stimulating, and the second half is some really tight and exciting action sequences. There are just too many shortcuts that were taken in order to link elements together later on. Best performance I've ever seen from...

They say that you can’t judge a book by it’s cover. Well, can you judge it based on it’s name? If so I’m sure Hell Comes to Frogtown is something worthy of my time. If the insanely dumb title doesn’t sucker you in, then allow me to explain why this is piece of cinematic trash is absolutely worth a watch.

Cookies are for closers. That line from the movie encapsulates perfectly what the experience of watching the film is like. There are some great throwback lines and sequences that will appeal to adults, while still having plenty of fun stuff for kids. My 6-yr old girl really liked it. The first half of the movie is much better than the second half where I think it tries to bite off more than it can chew. The animation is top shelf and I was impressed and admittedly mesmerized by a few action sequences on...

My daughter absolutely loved this and wants to see it again. For me, it felt like a really long 79 minutes but there were some really special moments. It's a nature documentary on five different species of animals living in China's wild. Some of the events filmed are truly remarkable and I could watch a Panda mom helicopter-parent her cub for hours. In watching nature documentaries there is a modern-day tendency to root for the prey, you don't really want to see the carnivores "win." But what happens if one baby antelope would feed a snow...

Well that was a bit of a hot mess. Overall, I would consider it a success in that I was pretty creeped out several times. My heart was racing and all that. It's just important not to think about the movie too much while watching it. One of the problems with putting smart people in space is that they then need to act smart all the time. Having a scary creature in space can be fun since most of the time the protagonists are trying to get away from it and escape. But here, we...
